The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Christine Elizabeth Barnes, the Friends for Christine E. Barnes for State Representative, paid about $47 to Meijer between January and June 2019, according to quarterly campaign statements filed with the Michigan Secretary of State.

The committee has spent about $729 total during the first half of the year, 6.5 percent of which has gone to Meijer.
