The Trump campaign has filed an appeal asking the Supreme Court of Michigan to take up an appeal regarding the oversight of elections.
The campaign alleges Wayne County employees did not allow proper access to the ballot counting process.
“Immediate consideration is necessary because this case concerns the designation of those individuals Michigan selects to represent the State of Michigan and Michigan voters in the Electoral College on December 14,” the appellate brief to the state’s high court reads.
Some of those present at the TCF Center in Detroit spoke about their experience in a hearing last week.
“When the GOP people were getting escorted out, with or without handcuffs, every poll worker and all Democrats stood and clapped like they all won a lottery ticket,” Hima Kolanagireddy, a poll challenger at the TCF Center, said at the hearing. “And that is exactly when I decided I’m going to do this because that was heartbreaking.”
Others have also discussed alleged abuses they say occurred in Detroit on Election Day, including a contractor working for Dominion Voting Systems which provided the election machines.
