On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Williamston High School standout Ava Johnson’s current college team, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Maverick All-Sports Dome. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Lewis Flyers.
