Senator Elissa Slotkin, who represents Michigan’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, outlined key issues she is monitoring in her recent social media posts.

In a post dated September 11, 2025, Slotkin wrote: "This week in my Intel Briefing, we hit three big things I am watching closely:

The loss of manufacturing jobs in Michigan

Sec. Kennedy undermining vaccine standards

A Supreme Court case on racial profiling by ICE https://t.co/QuJ8IfOD7f"

Later that day, Slotkin informed constituents about available support from her office: "Our office can help you: https://t.co/l9KcmsfNay" (September 11, 2025).

She also provided information for Michigan residents regarding vaccines: "Michiganders, you can find information on vaccines here: https://t.co/nQz6V5tcd0" (September 11, 2025).

Slotkin has served as a member of the U.S. Congress since 2019 after succeeding Mike Bishop. She was born in New York City in 1976 and currently resides in Lansing. Slotkin graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998.
