Senator Elissa Slotkin, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 7th district, posted a series of tweets on September 16, 2025, highlighting her recent intelligence briefing and reflecting on the legacy of former Senator Carl Levin.

In two consecutive posts at 13:40 and 13:41 UTC, Slotkin shared identical messages inviting followers to view her latest intelligence update: "Watch my full Intel Briefing here: https://t.co/2o0nEkyg0r" and "Watch my full Intel Briefing here: https://t.co/2o0nEkyg0r".

Later that day at 14:30 UTC, Slotkin referenced Carl Levin, a longtime Michigan senator known for his bipartisan work and investigative leadership. She wrote, "Carl Levin would never complain. He would act. He would investigate. He would take on both parties, and he would find common ground."

Elissa Slotkin has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Mike Bishop as the representative for Michigan’s 7th district. Born in New York City in 1976, she is currently based in Lansing. Slotkin graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998.
