Graduates earn 194 degrees from Olivet College

About 44.8 percent of the 194 degrees and certificates handed out by Olivet College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Olivet conferred 74 bachelor's degrees and 13 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in insurance. Data shows the school gave out 31 bachelor's degrees in insurance, followed by 26 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 22 bachelor's degrees in general health and physical education/fitness.

The college enrolled 1,098 students for 2017-18, including 1,055 in undergraduate programs and 43 in graduate programs.
