Dominion Voting Systems CEO John Poulos testified in a Michigan hearing that some of the machines are connected to the internet.
Poulos’ testimony came as he was making good on his pledge to testify at the Michigan House Administration Committee on Dec. 15.
“For the few jurisdictions, less than one percent of our customer base, an external cellular modem is required,” Dominion Voting Systems CEO John Poulos told legislators during a state Senate committee hearing in Michigan.
Poulos testified just after a data analyst released an audit noting as many as 385,000 votes in the state were of concern.
Jim Bleck, the designer of the first electronic voting machine, said computerized voting machines are already vulnerable to fraud and that adding connectivity to the internet makes the problem worse.
In the testimony, the “glitch” that caused a 6,000 vote swing in Antrim County was blamed on human error rather than machine error.
The Trump campaign has called out Dominion by name when questioning vote counts.
