Michigan’s Republican delegation is being celebrated for its continued efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
A slide shows the Senate Republicans' work over 2020 in six distinct areas - economic impacts, assisting the needy, protecting front line workers, promoting Michigan, building a ‘responsible’ budget and improving criminal justice.
“In an unprecedented year for our state and nation, Senate Republicans provided the resources necessary to combat COVID-19, and to help Michiganders recover from its physical and economic effects,” a tweet from the Michigan Senate GOP reads.
Regarding economics, the group pointed toward efforts to extend unemployment benefits and business grants amid the pandemic.
