City of East Lansing issued the following announcement on Aug 13.
Motorists are advised that westbound Albert Avenue, between Grove Street and Abbot Road, will be closed beginning Monday, Aug. 16 for utility repairs at the Abbot-Albert intersection.
It is anticipated that northbound and southbound Abbot Road will be maintained, but motorists should expect traffic shifts. The intersection is estimated to re-open to traffic by the end of the day on Friday, Aug. 20.
