County of Clinton issued the following announcement on Aug 23.
Tuesday and Wednesday look quite warm and very humid. High temperatures in the upper 80s to 90 are expected, and combined with the humidity that will push heat index readings into the mid and upper 90s at times.
Unfortunately this does occur as many schools return to session this week.
Keep this in mind for both indoor and outdoor activities. Here are some heat safety tips.
