City of Midland issued the following announcement on Sept 16.
Congress Drive will the closed at the intersection with E. Wheeler Street on Friday, September 17 as crews perform final water main work.
During this closure, motorists should use other exit and entry points into the Congress Drive neighborhood.
Congress is anticipated to reopen by the end of the day on Friday. The Wheeler Street reconstruction and water main replacement project is estimated to be completed in October 2021.
