City of East Lansing issued the following announcement on Oct 26.

The winners of the 2021 East Lansing Community Photo Contest; officially sponsored by the “Daytime. Nighttime. Anytime.” Place Project (Place Project); have been announced. Of the 263 photographs submitted, 14 were selected as winners: 

• 1st Place – Aaron Word, Enjoying Albert EL Fresco
• 2nd Place – Bruce Kowalczyk, Lauren Asta Mural
• 3rd Place – Tanya Iretskaia, Magical Fall Landscape
• Downtown East Lansing winner – Philip Babcock, Downtown East Lansing Skyline

 Honorable Mention winners are as follows:  

• Alexandra Hauser
• Angelica Ortega
• Carleigh Lewaniak
• Dane Robison 
• Demetri Angelo Zervos
• Gary Caldwell
• Kate Ciolek
• Molir Moldagaliyeva
• Sarah DeGuise
• Susan Molstad 

The winning photos will be featured in a variety of City of East Lansing marketing materials, online and in print, and the winners have received downtown East Lansing eGift Card prizes. This year’s winning photos can be viewed on the City’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cityofeastlansing/.
