Dansville Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Dear Aggie Family,
We are seeking your input before we formalize a plan as we apply for the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER), part III. These funds are intended to help schools mitigate the impact of the pandemic by providing funding for areas such as: helping to provide a safe and healthy learning environment, addressing student learning recovery needs and supporting educator/staff stability and well-being.
The district has maintained both a short- and long-term asset management plan for several years. In addition, we have a list of priorities shared previously by our school and community stakeholders throughout our bond/facilities improvement process. In this survey, we have included the items from these existing planning documents that also fit the grant qualifications, as well as other areas that could be addressed with this funding.
Please click on this link to help us get a better understanding of what you believe should be the district’s top priority (mark as #1) and then rank accordingly, to share what you believe should be the district’s top five priorities as we apply for this funding. Feel free to add additional items in the comment box at then end of the survey and then rank those accordingly in your "Top 5".
The survey will be open until Friday, December 3rd at noon.
If you have any questions or need any additional assistance with this survey, please don’t hesitate to contact me or any of the buildings principals.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
~Amy Hodgson
