All-of-us Express Children’s Theatre (AECT) will be hosting a benefit concert on Thursday, June 9 at 7 p.m. at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

The benefit concert will feature a performance by Michigan singer-songwriter Wally Pleasant, who plays humorous songs based on folk music and rock ‘n’ roll influences from the 1950s and 1960s.

"We're excited to start the summer off with a family-friendly concert featuring a local musician,” said AECT Board of Trustees Vice President Jen VanDerHeide. “It will be a great way for families to celebrate the end of the school year while supporting children's theatre programming."

Tickets are available for purchase ahead of time and at the door. Pre-sale tickets are $10 for youth (17 and under), $20 for adults (18 and older) and tickets purchased at the door are $15 for youth, $25 for adults. Children under the age of 5 years old can attend for free. Community members can purchase tickets online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/5400585.

This AECT benefit concert is generously sponsored by the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.
