SERVICE ALERT: Residents, start your engines: Yard waste collection returns to your curbside services on Monday, April 3! During month-long Spring Free Yard Waste Collection, yard waste stickers will not be required on compost paper bags or blue City yard waste bins until Monday, May 1. Stickers will be required for collection after that date.

Yard waste collection includes garden waste, leaves, grass clippings, small sticks and twigs, plants, and other yard debris items placed curbside in paper compost bags or a blue City yard waste bin (available for purchase). It is collected weekly with your regular refuse collection. Please do not confuse this with our monthly Heavy Item & Brush Collection, which occurs one week per month on your area's designated week and provides collection of large branches, brush, logs, and other items set at the curb in piles no larger than 8 feet in length.

Get more info on yard waste collection, buy a bin, and learn about all the ways you can get rid of stuff at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/publicservices.
