MSU honors 18 graduates with Board's Award for achieving perfect GPA

Eighteen graduates from Michigan State University have been recognized for their academic excellence by receiving the Board of Trustees' Award. This accolade, presented during the MSU Board of Trustees meeting on October 25, acknowledges students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.

In addition to this recognition, these students will also be honored during their individual commencement ceremonies in December. Each awardee will receive $1,000 from the university as part of their commendation.

The list of recipients includes:

- Madeline J. Bolek from Traverse City, Michigan, who graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the College of Social Science.

- Raymond A. Choate from Brighton, Michigan, who earned a bachelor's degree in management from the Eli Broad College of Business.

- Billy Chu from Novi, Michigan, completed his bachelor's degree in finance at the Eli Broad College of Business.

- John D. Curran Jr. hails from Oxford, Michigan and obtained a bachelor's degree in human biology from the College of Natural Science.

- Tess N. Dobson received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources; she is originally from Mattawan, Michigan.

- Olivia G. Grasso is an honors college member who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Holt, Michigan at the College of Education.

- Aiden L. Guzman comes from San Antonio, Texas and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at the College of Social Science.

- Tierney E. Janovsky is another graduate with a bachelor’s degree in psychology; she resides in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.

- Claire E. Jennings obtained her bachelor’s degree in human capital and society; she is based out of Birmingham, Michigan and attended the College of Social Science.

- Abigail B. Johnson belongs to Brighton, Michigan and acquired her bachelor’s degree in human biology at Lyman Briggs College while being an honors college member.

Other notable graduates include Linus R. Kaechele (Grand Rapids), Huong N. Le (East Lansing), Zeyu Li (Chenzhou), Parker J. Pilat (Clarkston), Matia A. Rourke (Lake Orion), Alyssa A. Swanton (Sanford), Sophia L. Whitteaker (Plymouth), and Monique M. Zak (Novi).
