Congressman Tom Barrett recently took to social media to share his participation in various community and professional engagements. These posts highlight his dedication to both local healthcare infrastructure and support for the transportation and military sectors.

On April 23, Barrett expressed his enthusiasm for joining a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso. In his remarks, he stated, "Honored to join the ribbon cutting at @Memorial_Owosso for their new urgent care, pharmacy, lab, and x-ray services. Grateful for their continued commitment to meeting the needs of our community. This hospital is a vital resource for mid-Michigan!"

The following day, Barrett showed appreciation for the Michigan Trucking Association and truckers throughout mid-Michigan. His comments demonstrated his commitment to the constituents' economic contributions, noting, "Thanks to the Michigan Trucking Association and truckers from across mid-Michigan for having me this week! The men and women you represent keep our economy moving, and I’m eager to support them when the House takes up the Surface Transportation Reauthorization bill later this year."

On the same day, Barrett marked his presence at a military ceremony, reflecting his personal connection to the 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment. He commented, "Honored to attend the departure ceremony for the 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment– the same unit I once served in. These brave soldiers are answering the call once again. We’re proud of them and pray for their safe return."
