In another tweet posted on the same day, Barrett mentioned adjustments related to Medicaid. According to him, the bill "removes 1.4 million illegal immigrants and 1.2 million recipients who are already ineligible under current law from the Medicaid program." He emphasized that it aims to restore Medicaid for its intended beneficiaries: expectant mothers, children, people with disabilities.

Further detailing economic impacts in his subsequent tweet on May 22, Barrett noted potential financial benefits for individuals. The bill is said to "increase take-home pay by as much as $13,300 and wages by as much as $11,600." It also seeks to make starting a family more affordable by enhancing the Adoption Tax Credit up to $5,000 and addresses fiscal efficiency by targeting waste through requiring able-bodied individuals' compliance.
