Congressman Tom Barrett recently shared updates on his activities and engagements through a series of tweets. These posts highlight his involvement in discussions related to agriculture, veterans' health care, and automotive innovation.

On June 4, 2025, Congressman Barrett expressed his satisfaction after meeting with constituents who were visiting Washington D.C. as part of the National Grain and Feed Association. He stated, "I enjoyed meeting with a group of constituents who are in DC today with the National Grain and Feed Association. We had a productive discussion about supply chain issues and the future of agriculture in our region, as well as how we can support our farmers and ag businesses that".

The following day, June 5, 2025, Barrett participated in the “War Cry for Change” press conference alongside organizations such as Grunt Style Foundation, Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and General Jack Bergman. He called for accountability within the VA health system to address overprescription issues. He remarked, "At the 'War Cry for Change' press conference today, I joined @GruntStyleFdn, DAV, VFW, and General @RepJackBergman in demanding accountability and putting a stop to overprescription within the VA health system. Our veterans deserve better than a lifetime of pills".

On June 6, 2025, Congressman Barrett met with leaders from Ford Motors to discuss Michigan's role in advancing American innovation and job creation. He noted his enthusiasm by stating, "Great to meet with leaders from Ford Motors today to discuss how Michigan is driving American innovation forward and creating good-paying jobs. Ensuring our nation remains competitive on the world stage starts right here in mid-Michigan".
