She expressed concerns about children's exposure to extreme content through social media platforms.
Later that day, she highlighted the transformative potential of AI on the economy. In her tweet from July 8, 2025, she noted that "AI has the potential to change our economy more than the internet did." Slotkin emphasized the Midwest's historical experience with economic shifts due to factors like trade deals and automation and called for proactive measures.
On July 9, 2025, Slotkin shared a lighter moment on social media by discussing her engagement with constituents. She mentioned receiving over a thousand invitations from Michiganders to various events such as pro-wrestling matches and weddings.
