Sen. Elissa Slotkin, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 7th district since 2019, recently addressed issues surrounding healthcare and federal law enforcement authority in a series of posts on her social media account.

Slotkin was born in New York City in 1976 and currently resides in Lansing. She holds a BA from Cornell University. Her congressional service began after replacing Mike Bishop in 2019.
