Congressman Tom Barrett marks Constitution Day and welcomes Vice President Vance in Michigan

Congressman Tom Barrett, who represents Michigan's 7th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, recently used his social media platform to share reflections on American history, promote local events, and highlight media appearances.

On September 16, 2025, Barrett posted a link to an interview with WJR Radio: "Listen to my full interview on @wjrradio here: https://t.co/WhMw9w5iFJ".

The following day, he marked Constitution Day by referencing his military and congressional service. On September 17, 2025, Barrett wrote: "On this day 238 years ago, our Founding Fathers signed the U.S. Constitution, and thus began our never-ending pursuit of forming a more perfect union. I swore an oath to protect and defend this document first when I served in the Army and again as a member of Congress. That https://t.co/Ua9LeRWRSf".

Later that same day, Barrett welcomed Vice President J.D. Vance to Howell, Michigan with another post: "Welcome back to Michigan, @VP Vance! Thank you for coming to Howell this afternoon to celebrate the manufacturing heart of America and spend time with the hardworking people who keep it moving. https://t.co/v5tAaxj1HL".

Barrett is known for his advocacy on behalf of Michigan's manufacturing sector and has previously served in the U.S. Army before being elected to Congress.
