Substructure repairs on the M-123 overpass at I-75 in Mackinac County, originally scheduled to begin next week, have been delayed. The Michigan Department of Transportation cited complications with staging and scheduling as the reason for the postponement.

The project, which was initially expected to start this year, is now planned for completion in 2026. According to officials, a revised schedule will be provided later. There will be no lane restrictions until construction resumes next year.
