Ryan Beebe, a 35-year-old resident of Dighton, has been convicted by a Wexford County jury on multiple charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor. The Michigan Attorney General, Dana Nessel, announced that Beebe was found guilty of two counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, which carry potential life sentences, and two counts of Second-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, each punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

The incidents occurred between 2016 and 2021 when Beebe and the victim lived in the same home in Wexford County. The abuse began when the victim was eight years old. Charges were filed against Beebe by the Wexford County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in January. The case was prosecuted by the Michigan Department of Attorney General.

“No child should ever endure the pain and trauma of sexual abuse,” said Nessel. “My office will continue to stand with and pursue justice for survivors.”

A date for sentencing has not yet been determined.
