Julie Brixie's campaign pays $20 to New York Times

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Julie Brixie, Julie Brixie for State Representation, paid $20 to New York Times on June 3.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'subscription'.

The committee has spent about $5,740 total since the beginning of the year, 4.5 percent of which has gone to New York Times.
