County of Clinton issued the following announcement on July 24.
This is a great reminder for all our recyclers! Make sure those boxes are empty before putting them into the bin.
And check our Waste Wizard for recycling options www.clinton-county.org/WasteWizard
We ask that you remove Styrofoam before recycling your boxes not only because it saves room in the bin, but more importantly it prevents contamination.
As you can see, each block is easily broken into thousands of little pieces that contaminates the cardboard!
