City of Grand Ledge recently issued the following announcement.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is alerting all cell phone and tablet users operating on the 3G network that service, based on provider, will be phased out as soon as February 2022. Ultimately, those utilizing the 3G network will soon be unable to call or text, including to emergency service lines such as 9-1-1. For additional information, please visit the FCC website.
