On December 13, 2024, Rep. Slotkin tweeted: "This morning, I had the privilege of presenting a Congressional Record Statement to Dan Gilmartin and the @MMLeague in honor of their 125th anniversary. For over a century, the Michigan Municipal League has been a cornerstone of local governance and advocacy across our state." She recognized MML's role as foundational to local government efforts throughout Michigan.

In another tweet from the same day, she highlighted some of the organization's significant achievements: "From playing a vital role in constructing the Mackinac Bridge to championing the Complete Streets Act, the League has demonstrated the transformative power of public service in local governments." Rep. Slotkin pointed out these examples as evidence of MML's impact on public infrastructure and policy.

Finally, Rep.
