Charlotte Area Recycling Authority recently issued the following announcement.
We are so sorry to say that unfortunately due to the cold temps, CARA will be CLOSED on Saturday, 02/19/22.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. As a *Reminder* CARA does not have a heat source and it is unsafe for staff and volunteers to be exposed to such low temperatures for an extended period of time.
It is our plan to re-open on Tuesday, 02/22/22, we will post an update either way on Monday, 02/21/22.
