City of Grand Ledge issued the following announcement on Mar 28.
The City of Grand Ledge Department of Public Services will be conducting the flushing of City water mains as early as Monday, April 4, 2022, until approximately Friday, April 22, 2022, weather permitting. Water main flushing is necessary to test hydrants for proper pressure and flow. This also allows the City to remove any sediment from the water lines which helps improve quality and clarity. Residents are advised that they may experience periods of low water pressure and discolored water while flushing is in progress.
We encourage residents to avoid doing laundry during the hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm during this period. If laundry becomes stained, do not dry it; wash it again with clean water and detergent, using a rust removing agent.
