Beginning Tuesday, July 12, Wackerly Street will be closed to through westbound traffic from Sturgeon Avenue to Partridge Lane through mid-October for a street reconstruction project.
One lane of eastbound traffic on Wackerly will remain open to through traffic throughout the duration of the project, while westbound through traffic will be detoured around the construction area using southbound Sturgeon Avenue, westbound Saginaw Road, and northbound Dublin Avenue.
Traffic delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes around the closure if possible.
This project is expected to be completed in October 2022.
