EAST LANSING, Mich. — In celebration of Parks and Recreation Month, the East Lansing Department of Parks, Recreation and Arts (ELPRA) will be hosting Parks, Recreation and Arts Day at the East Lansing Farmers Market (ELFM) this Sunday, July 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Valley Court Park, 280 Valley Court.
Community members are invited to stop by to enjoy the market and learn more about all that ELPRA has to offer. ELPRA will also be hosting a variety of fun, free activities for the community during the event, including, but not limited to:
- a Parks, Recreation and Arts tote bag giveaway to the first 300 customers
- a Hoop Dance Class at 11 a.m.
- face painting from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- outdoor games from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- rock painting from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
