Registration is now open! Last year, we hosted our first Latinx Police Academy, and it was a great success! We will be hosting one again beginning on August 11, 2022.
Attendees of the academy will become familiarized with the daily operations of the KCSO and learn the significant obstacles that officers face each day. They will learn about our departmental resources and divisions, including the Crime Scene Unit, emergency communications center, road patrol, and corrections. Attendees will also discover the different programs we offer and meet members of the KCSO.
The academy, which will be hosted in Spanish, will run each Thursday starting August 11 through September 15 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
