Latex paint is water based, which means it is not hazardous. It can be disposed with household trash as long as it is completely dry. Simply remove the lid and let it sit. To speed up drying time, mix in cat litter, saw dust or pour paint into a box with either material. It can be disposed of with household trash as long as it is completely dry.
