She warned against giving significant control to wealthy individuals like Elon Musk by stating "You can’t hand the keys of our govt to billionaires like Elon Musk. They don’t understand how dismantling everything puts our public safety, national security or economy at risk." Slotkin emphasized that while reducing governmental inefficiencies is necessary, it should not come at the cost of essential functions.
