Rep. Elissa Slotkin, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 7th District, recently shared her thoughts on accountability and national security through a series of tweets. Born in New York City in 1976 and currently residing in Lansing, Slotkin has been serving since replacing Mike Bishop in 2019.

In a tweet posted on March 25, 2025, Rep. Slotkin addressed the potential consequences for individuals who disclose information causing significant harm to national security. In another post made seconds later, she emphasized the importance of leadership accountability at the highest levels of government. Rep. Additionally, Rep. Slotkin highlighted the repercussions an individual might face following a security breach.
