Rep. Elissa Slotkin, currently serving Michigan's 7th District in the U.S. Congress, utilized social media to communicate her priorities and concerns with her constituents. Her recent tweets focused on providing constituent services, addressing policy concerns, and sharing reflections from a recent summit she attended.

On April 6, 2025, Rep. Slotkin tweeted her commitment to assisting Michiganders dealing with issues related to the federal government. She stated, "When a Michigander needs me, it is my job to pick up the phone and help. Meet my team who can help you cut through the red tape and resolve issues related to the federal government."

The following day, on April 7, 2025, she expressed her concern regarding Social Security. Slotkin wrote, "What's keeping me up at night? Elon Musk and the Administration's chaotic behavior around Social Security cuts and how it will impact 1.6 million Michiganders."

On the same day, Slotkin reflected on her past experiences working within the military, emphasizing the importance of planning. She shared her participation at a recent women's summit in Detroit, stating, "Working alongside the military, I learned every mission starts with a plan: the goal, the ways to achieve it, and the resources. That stuck with me. I was glad to discuss the need for a plan at the Bas Blue Women's Summit in Detroit last week."
