In another tweet dated May 9, 2025, Slotkin addressed concerns regarding the safety of Americans amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan. She wrote that "As the global community works toward de-escalation between India and Pakistan, we’ve gotten a number of calls about Americans who are in the region, concerned about their safety, and may need assistance getting home." Later that day, Slotkin reflected on the long-lasting effects of school shootings by mentioning the Gregory family’s experience.
