Sen. Elissa Slotkin, who represents Michigan’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account covering legislative outreach, community events, and constituent concerns.
On July 16, 2025, Slotkin encouraged constituents to seek information about new legislation by stating: "Watch and call our office at 202.224.4822 if you have questions on how this bill impacts you."

Elissa Slotkin has represented Michigan’s 7th District since replacing Mike Bishop in 2019. Born in New York City in 1976 and currently residing in Lansing at age 46, she holds a BA from Cornell University.
