The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced that a section of westbound I-94 in Van Buren County will undergo repaving work starting Sunday, November 2, 2025. The affected area is located under County Road 681, between the communities of Hartford and Lawrence.
According to MDOT, one lane of westbound I-94 will be closed during the project. The closure is expected to last until Saturday, November 8, 2025. The construction aims to improve road conditions for drivers traveling through this part of Van Buren County.
The closest communities to the construction zone are Lawrence and Hartford.
