County of Eaton issued the following announcement on Sept 29.

Eaton County is currently seeking committed citizens who are interested in serving on:

• Zoning Board of Appeals (2 positions) - 3 year term (Cannot be a resident of a city or Benton, Delta, Windsor or Oneida Township)
• Construction Code Board of Appeals (8 positions) – 3 year term

• Planning Commission (1 position) – 3 year term
• Parks and Recreation Commission (2 positions) – 3 year term
• Eaton County Transportation Authority (1 position) – 3 year term (Must be a resident of Sunfield, Roxand, Vermontville or Chester Township)
• Clinton-Eaton-Ingham Community Mental Health Board (1 position) – 3 year term
• Tri-County Office on Aging Advisory Council (1 position) – 3 year term
• Building Authority (1 position) – 3 year term
