City of East Tawas issued the following announcement on Nov 4.
The City of East Tawas received a $2,500 Tree Planting Grant from Consumers Energy. The grant project allowed the City to remove trees that were considered a safety or maintenance issue and plant 25 new trees.
The new tree types and locations met Consumers Energy’s placement planning to assist in reducing utility conflicts. We want to thank Consumers Energy for their continued investment in our community.
