PUBLIC HEARING: Amendments to City Code, Section 46-453

City of Grand Ledge issued the following announcement on Jan 19.

The Grand Ledge Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. on 03 February 2022, to consider and receive public input on proposed amendments to City Code, Section 46-453, to increase the allowable building height in the CBD, Central Business District from 45 feet to 50 feet, to increase the allowable building heights in the R-HD, Multiple Family Residential and R-PC, Residential Planned Community districts from 30 feet to 35 feet and up to 50 feet when located at least 25 feet from single family residential parcels of land and to eliminate the restriction on the allowable number of building stories in all three zoning districts.  The proposed amendments are available on the City’s website at www.cityofgrandledge.com.

The Planning Commission invites anyone interested to attend in person to participate and offer comments at the public hearing.  Written comments can be mailed or delivered to Elected or Appointed Officials at 310 Greenwood St., Grand Ledge, MI 48837, placed in the drop box in front of City Hall, or emailed to cityhall@cityofgrandledge.com.  All written comments will be considered if received by 5:00 p.m. the day of the public hearing.  Please call (517) 627-2149 or email cityhall@cityofgrandledge.com for further information or to request accommodations for disabilities.
