City of Leslie issued the following announcement on Jan 25.
Len Charitable Fund to Benefit the Leslie Community
A fund of the Capital Region Community Foundation
Eligible Applicants
Applicants should be organizations classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a church, a tax exempt school or governmental entity, applying for money for initiatives or programs that specifically benefit the Leslie community.
Eligible Grants
Grant money cannot be used for normal operating expenses or faith formation.
Grantee Responsibilities
Applicants who are awarded a grant will be required to sign a Community Foundation Grant Agreement before receiving the funds, and also to provide a report at the end of the year indicating how the funds were utilized. Any misuse of funds may require reimbursement to the Community Foundation.
