The City of East Tawas was awarded grant funding through the Consumers Energy Street and Boulevard Tree Planting Grant Program. The City planted seven trees this year, three in front of residential properties and four trees downtown on Newman Street. East Tawas is thankful for the opportunity and plans to utilize the program in years to come. Check out the link below for more information regarding the tree planting grant program.
