City of East Lansing announces Local Utility Improvement Project to Begin Monday, March 27 in East Lansing

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that a local utility improvement project will begin next Monday, March 27 in the City of East Lansing.

The project will include replacement of water main, sewer, curb and gutter, driveways and sidewalks on Collingwood Drive, Kedzie Street, Division Street, Gunson Street and Sunrise Court. The project will also include surface milling and paving.

During construction, some roadways will be closed to through traffic to accommodate the work; however, local traffic will be maintained for residential access. Motorists should use alternate routes of travel when possible. There will be an initial road closure on Snyder Road, between Burcham Drive and Collingwood Drive, beginning Monday, March 27.
