US-41 road repairs set to begin October 6 between Marquette and Harvey

Contractors working for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin repairs on US-41/M-28 between the Carp River in Marquette and Cherry Creek Road in Harvey, Marquette County, starting Monday, October 6.

The scheduled work includes crack sealing and filling holes along this section of roadway. The repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, October 10.

Drivers traveling through the area should anticipate intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts during the project period.

According to MDOT, these repairs are intended to maintain the safe and reliable operation of the road.
